Greatly enjoyed pretty much everything, no complains at all. We stayed 3 nights; would have stayed for longer.

I recently stayed at Casa Do Avo for a couple of days during my Camino de Santiago journey. The apartment exceeded my expectations, with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The host had thoughtfully provided coffee, fresh fruit, and candy. She even helped us arrange luggage taxis for the next stage of our journey. Although we didn't have time to try the spa downstairs, the views were lovely, allowing us to watch pilgrims walking into the city. The fully equipped kitchen, good wifi, and television were great additions, and the lack of traffic noise made for a peaceful stay. a highly recommended place for weary pilgrims and tourists alike.

Would recommend this hotel.

Begoña was the best owner ever. We got TV, a microwave oven and a refrigerator. Got private bathroom with a bath. We could see street from the window. We loved to dine at Pulperia o Caminante, this place was a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment...

Additionally, the owner's daughter, Marta, was incredibly helpful and fluent in English, which made our communication seamless. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful and comfortable stay.

The apartment had 2 bedrooms, which was perfect for our family.

Personally, I found the microwave in the living room a bit odd.

Easy key access, helpful owner and daughter who speaks English, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi and TV, no traffic noise, friendly locals. A convenient rest stop for pilgrims and tourists, with shops nearby and buses to Santiago and Lugo. Pleasant surprise of milk, fruit, and candy in the apartment, and the option to use the spa downstairs. Beautiful views of pilgrims on their way to the city. Spotlessly clean and well presented.

It was a perfect place to rest for a couple of days while on my pilgrimage. the owner was incredibly helpful and easy to reach by phone if needed. the house was well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, good wifi, and a television. the location was convenient, with shops and amenities nearby. the best part was the peaceful atmosphere with no traffic noise at all. the locals in Palas de Rei were friendly and welcoming. a great place to stay!
